Copywriting, French—English translation and product naming for website, brand presentation and packaging.

Organic French beauty brand Thomsen brought me on board to help translate their French website and comms into English ahead of their European launch.

As an organic brand, focus on ingredients and ethical practice was key. It was also extremely important to convey the feeling of luxury across all their communications, not only to help change negative market stereotypes about organic cosmetics but also to highlight the quality and efficacy of the products.

As well as translation, I helped rename products and refine copy to better suit an English-speaking market, paying special care not to lose the TOV, brand identity and inherent ‘French cool’ brand equity they had already built and delivered beautifully to the French consumer.
